We promise the series of photography posts will stop soon but we came across this set of beauties and had to put it up.
Each of these shots of islands was taken from space by either astronauts or satellites. Whilst satellite photography is nothing new, this is still a pretty excellent collection. We especially love this island with sea in the middle, which is just beautiful. Having said that, the shot of the Maldives below in which they come out blue instead of green is probably the most striking, as it really gets across just how close to sea level (and soon being wiped of the map) those islands are.
Still, that aside, they’re well worth a look for purely aesthetic reasons.
